What is your biggest dream?

To quantify or qualify - that is the question.

As the festive season is now upon us with the sun soon to be setting on 2024, as we head towards 2025, do you give yourself quality time to contemplate and set your goals and dreams for the incoming year?

Someone recently asked me what my biggest dream/goal was for 2025 and without missing a beat or with a conscious thought, I replied, World Peace. Aspirational indeed, sadly unlikely in 2025.

2024 has been somewhat of a roller-coaster ride whilst still creating some wonderful memories. It has also been a year that has brought significant challenges for so much of our shared humanity – there have been times that I have found myself feeling hopeless and helpless, yet I would never give up on my faith for a better future for our world.

During 2024, I witnessed some exceptional, inspiring and uplifting acts of kindness, generosity and love from our shared humanity around the world, restoring my faith in our shared humanity.

So, how can we all do our bit to bring more love and kindness into our world? Firstly, let’s speak to the need for our fulfillment of quantifiable goals.

Some of us love, look for, invite and embrace it – change. For others, change can be a source of trepidation, resentment, overwhelm or denial bringing with it a barrage of uncomfortable emotions.We must learn to accept and embrace that change is natural and an inevitable constant in our lives and the universe – in doing so we can participate more fully in life’s ebb and flow.
