It’s been an exciting and mostly joyful time for the past few months creating and developing a beautiful and beneficial product for you. The launch is a bit delayed due to circumstances beyond my control – Welcome to the world of manufacturing.
It has also been challenging at times with stretching my resources to the limit, I’ve had to dig very deep on many levels to get through some of the more challenging times.
How do any of us get through the challenging times? Having consistent and beneficial daily practices is so important to keep us in a resourceful state of being and to enhance our well-being.
I’m often asked, how do I get through the challenging times. Along with meditation, mindfulness, deep breathing practices, good nutrition, walks by the beach and in nature, I am blessed with a wonderful and supportive partner. In response to the recent challenges I created an uplifting and beneficial daily practice – The Art of Three Things and it can work wonders for anyone of any age. I share it with you here so that you can also include it in your daily life and experience its uplifting and beneficial effects too.
The Art of Three Things
It’s much like a prescription and it goes like this –
Do the following each three different things at their prescribed time of day and repeat, repeat, repeat…
In the morning after you wake up, ask yourself –
- What three things am I most looking forward to today?
Around your lunchtime, ask yourself –
- What three things are going really well today?
Before you go to sleep at night, ask yourself –
- What three things do I most appreciate about today?
Of course there may be a myriad of the above on any given day and hopefully so; however when the proverbial hits the fan, choosing only three things is an easy manage for your brain and consciousness and helps to quickly focus your awareness on some positive things. The Art of Three Things also helps to enhance optimism and uplift your day.
Having proven to be such a powerful practice and having had such enjoyable and profound experiences through the doing The Art of Three Things, it is now an integral part of my daily life and I’m sure you will be inspired to make it a part of yours too.
Go on and give it a go and do share your experiences in the comments below.
